Apologize for not dropping a note yesterday but was busy attending sessions, meeting customers and soaking the great IIUG hospitality. The conference is wrapping up w/ the last round of sessions underway. The only thing left is the Customer Advisory Council scheduled for Thursday. Several of us were sad to see the conference come to an end. It was a quick 3 days and just felt like time flew. New Informix friends and partnership was developed over the past 3 days. The networking is one of the greatest advantages to come to this conference and we get to meet some die hard Informix fans. Today another highlight was the executive Q&A w/ Alyse, Inhi and Rob and the message was loud and clear around Informix and investments in this space. There were a lot of interesting questions and I am sure the recording will be posted on Youtube or our social media channels shortly. Sessions were as usual great. The only complaint being there were a lot of great sessions occurring in parallel which is a true testament to the high quality of the 80+ sessions that was held. Overall I saw the testing site and the HOL sites always crowded and the New Features turnout was phenomenal. I hope you are all as excited about the next release as I am. This is definitely a great time to part of the Informix portfolio.
