EOS Dates for Informix 10 is around the corner .. Are you covered ?

Folks -  It's September and we are on our final stretch - Informix 10 goes End of Support (EOS) on Sep 30th. While we would like to see each and everyone of you on our latest 11.50 release, we understand that you may not be ready to complete your upgrade and may need support post EOS. To ensure that your business continuity is maintained, we have announced a new pilot offering called "Continuing Support".

Continuing support will provide you with non-defect support (how-to, workaround,
and existing fixes) ... any new defect support investigation, or new
patches/fixes or new packaging of existing fixes will still require
Service Extensions.  So for maximum coverage on mission critical
installations, Service Extensions are still recommended. We are also extending this to Informix 9.4. The rationale behind providing coverage in this pilot for 9.4x is that many clients have installations that are still running on this version and are in need of reduced deliverable support at a price point less than the available Service Extensions.  Introducing this pilot will allow them to reinstate their S&S (where expired) to receive this assistance, and to allow them to work with IBM to build plans for migrating them to the newest release.

The IBM messaging can be found here: http://bit.ly/ContinuingSupportTech

If there are any specific business requirements that you would like to discuss w/ us, please feel free to drop us a note at askIFMX@us.ibm.com. We just had a Chat w/ the lab last week and the recording will be available shortly (Will post the link here when it is available).

Happy Upgrades !!
