FAQ and Answers for developing, deploying and maintaining applications in MACH11 environment.

I'm writing an article on this topic.  Here are the questions I've collected so far.

  1. What APIs can use with IDS on MACH11 environment?
  2. What features you get in primary that you don't get in SDS or RSS?
  3. Within a session, how do I check which server I'm on?  How do I find its type?
  4. What's connection manager? What are the best practices for setting it up?
  5. How do I avoid connection manager being single point of failure?

Bruce Weed's Blog

Bruce Weed, who leads Informix marketing strategy for Informix and IBM Information Management Business Partner Strategy, has started a new blog: Bruce Weed's Blog. In his first post he threatens to share thoughts, experiences, and conversations about Informix and Information Management channels and begins with an interesting analogy about multi-talented olympic snowboarder  Shaun White and how he chooses to focus his talents. I'm looking forward to part two of this when Bruce finds another can of Red Bull..
