Eric is a long time Informix enthusiast and works with Informix technology since 1986. A recent thread in the IIUG mailing list (relative to a reverse DNS issue) reminded me of a new Panther (version 11.7) functionality that was on my list for articles. I've been avoiding many of the bigger and more important features because they will take a lot of time to write about... I hope this one will be shorter.

Bear with me for one more "Non Technical Pimp the 2011 IIUG Informix Conference" post. After this we'll get back to the good stuff. I had to take advantage of Table Level Restore last night and will be writing about that experience soon.
