After the sudden death of the IBM Database Magazine, a new magazine called the IBM Data Management Magazine will soon launch it's first edition.

Thank you to Amit Patel, Jeff Jones and Steven Miller from IBM for informing The Informix Zone about the plans for the new magazine. As soon as the new magazine will be available, I'll add it as an RSS newsfeed to The Informix Zone.

Wow - what an amazing conference so far! Sunday was a whirlwind of last minute details and final setup, The IIUG conference planning team did a fabulous job with a spectacular opening reception and a fun trivia contest. It was great to connect with old friends, meet new ones - and meet some others in person - finally!  I've talked with customers and IBM business partners from around the world so far:  Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Malaysia, China, Portugal, Israel, and all areas of the U.S.
